App Information
This Application (widget) gives you the ability to view animated rain forecast on you Garmin device based on you current GPS location. You can simply activate the Application during an activity.
The radar images are provided by The Meteo Company (Weerslag.nl).
Due to the very positive fact of the increase of the users per month, the costs are increasing for supporting this widget as well. These are mainly the cost to get the images. Therefore, from version 1.7.0 onwards, there are options for you as a user:
- Use the Application for free. Only 1 radar image.
- Get a yearly subscription (license key), which includes the features:
- Full screen images
- Multiple radar images in a carousel
- Rain chart (fast download)
You have received your license key. What should I do next?
- Fill in the license key in the Garmin Mobile Connect app.
- Connect your Edge to your phone.
- Select your Edge in the Garmin Mobile Connect app
- Go to Widgets
- Select the Rain Radar app and go to settings.
- Fill in the key
- Save the settings
- Make sure you synchronize with you Edge device
